In 1968, Balliu Export  was born near the Costa Brava, thanks to the vision of our founders, Josep Balliu García and Carme Balliu Falgueras. From the beginning, our goal has been clear: to offer quality, functional, and environmentally friendly outdoor furniture solutions.

Balliu originated from the issues with wooden sun loungers lacking durability and quality. To address this, our founder, Mr. Josep Balliu, manufactured the first iron sun lounger, creating a durable and convenient product for outdoor environments. Our innovative and resilient products quickly gained traction in the national market, leading to international expansion in 1986.

In 1987, Mr. Josep Balliu revolutionized the market again by replacing iron with polypropylene. Plastic injection reduced manufacturing time, meeting the high demand for Balliu products. Today, we are a well-established company with more than 55 years of experience specializing in outdoor furniture, both nationally and internationally.
